I don't want to sound naive, but where do you get raw marrow bones for Gracie? I've just never looked for them. Are they packaged in the meat case or do you have ask a butcher for them. I have a great dane/lab, still a puppy, who can take those ham bones they sell and have it gone in no time at all. And that can't be good. She's pretty much past the chewing up the furniture stage, no joke, but has to have something to keep her busy.
I understand your mixed feeling as I used to be a substitue teachers assistant for termially ill children and sometimes you feel you are doing a good thing and other times you get so depressed if you start feeling helpless. Kind of a strange comparison but you see what I mean?
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that some of my friends are from outside of the US and do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but just know that when we celebrate ours, I will be thinking of all of the wonderful new online friends that I have made this year, and that I am grateful for you and your friendship.
