Yea! Michael is in school

He has made a few friends here in Washington and even a pretty little girlfriend. Nice to see him smiling again.

We finally got all of our pieces of ID and proof of residence together and managed to get our Washington licenses. What a Headache!!! They said it is because there are so many faked IDs in use here so they have to really screen people. I guess we will be able to get fishing licenses now unless they also require you to give them your first born. I still need to find my title to my truck that Mike packed in one of the totes we haven't unpacked yet, so that I can re-register my truck. Yesterday we got new Gutters put on all the buildings, what a relief now we won't have to worry so much about the out buildings flooding. Just an hour ago there was a doe with her two fawns still in spots looking into our living room window. I was fussing about it and my darling son said,"Big deal mom, you act like you just arrived from the city!" I don't think I will ever feel that way. Every time I see them out here I get all excited about it.

I am waiting rather impatiently for Thursday, when I get to go pick up Gibbs (Our new male French Bulldog for those of you that have been spared my rambling about him.) I hope he has a nice flight from Illinois all the way to Washington. He will be delivered to Seattle which is about 4-5 hours away depending on traffic so we are going to drive up to get him. We would have had him shipped to Portland only 80 miles away but he would have had a 2 hour lay over in Dallas Texas and the thought of him maybe sitting in his crate on the tarmac or in the terminal just didn't feel good. He (if he is anything like our little Sugar will probably just sleep but if he doesn't it might be kinda scary for him.
