Tasha is the proud mommy of 6 puppies. She had eight one died at birth and we lost the runt a sweet little female a week after she was born. We bottle fed her and played mom to her, but it wasn't meant to be. We have 5 boys and 1 girl. They were born Nov 15th and now are almost two weeks old. Their eyes are open and they are already starting to get their own personalities. From the looks of it we have 4 brindle's and 2 fawns. The daddy was a white male named Jaxon. They will be ready to go to ne…

My long awaited kitty is finally home. A month or so ago my Client and (more importantly) closest friend told me I could have any one of her beautiful registered Persian kittens I wanted. I was awe struck and told her I really loved the little calico she called Spice and she said, "okay Spice it is then." Spice was still young and smaller than the others so Betty (my friend ) wanted to wait awhile to send her. That was all good and normal. Then we had so many problems with scheduling her trip th…

Steve got home on Friday night, it was late and the but I had put the girls out in their yard so they could greet him as he had called to say he would be home in 20 minutes and I knew they would be ecstatic to see him. The coyotes had not come back to my house but had moved down the road to my neighbors, taking easy picking killing their free ranging chickens.
I was watching TV when the girl alerted to Steve's arrival. I already knew he was home as he had called to tell me he was stopping at th…

Since I just come back from a Pet Expo, I have been reading a great deal about dog shows, dog expos etc. I am going to make sure I watch the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving.
TV alert: Leave your TV set on NBC immediately following the Macy’s Day Parade on Thanksgiving Day to watch the annual National Dog Show from Philadelphia, presented by Purina. Co-hosts David Frei and John O’Hurley will be joined by Rufus, the "colored bull terrier" from Holmdel, who won Best in Show at Westminster in 200…

If you have ever been on a forum where people play "my pets better than your pet or I am smarter than you" and your feelings were hurt so bad that you left the forum and swore you would never join another network ... First of all I want to thank you for giving us a chance. That took some real guts. I know because I got burned a few times before I found
Pet lovers Paradiseand Miss Suzsee. She is the best. Her site is great but at the time…

To all Tasha was bred again, were hoping we get puppies this time. If she is with puppies they will be born around Nov 9th. Blaze is taller than Tasha and heaver than her too. He has now learned to come to a whistle and is such a sneaky thing. Tasha's and Blaze's favorite thing is to go to the horses with us to feed.
We not going to have a foal next year. My daughters mare comes in heat but doesn't ovulate a week after. We will try to AI her next spring and hope we can get her into foal. We did…

Rosa, the red classic tabby kitten on the right, is the last kitten left of Jezebel's litter. She will finally get spayed on Thursday 10/8, then we will be able to place her up for adoption. We have not had ANY interest in her mother, which is sad, because she's really a beautiful cat, funny, affectionate, t…

Dear Colleen & All Members,
Thank you for your messages and all the beautiful graphics
that you sent to me.
Things have gone weird and strange in my life lately, especially
when I got the second letter from the city hall.
I believe that God wants me to move out of Holland, so I
will tell them next week when I meet that lady, that I won't
take that cultural orientation course again, because I have decided
to move out next year and return to Jakarta, Indonesia.
So, I hope you'll know and u…

Yesterday morning Mike and I were traveling down the Freeway from Hood River going to The Dalles Oregon to do some errands. We were going into a merging area where they were doing construction and we were in the lane that stops so Mike was trying to get over but there was a Milk truck pulling a trailer in front of us and another Semi beside us. The guy driving the Milk truck took his time to merge so we had very little space to try to get over and just as Mike tried to get on past him to get ove…

Section 671 was just filed this month (9/09)with 1 hearing to be held in a club in Woodland, CA and to take effect on 11/1/09. Talk about a sneak attack on our pets !
After re reading the legislation - hybrid cats are also included.
CA proposed legislation will allow AC to confiscate any animal they believe to be a hybrid. This will also mean that law enforcement ‘officials’ will be able to seize ANY WOLFY-LOOKING canid…including Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, German Shepherds, Huskies, Akitas, El…

Help Us Stop the Qinhuangdao Dog Slaughter Before it Starts
I've just received an urgent report that another city in China is planning a mass cull to slaughter any unregistered dogs, strays, and even registered family dogs that are over 14 inches (35cm) tall.
Dog owners in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, are even being told to kill their own dogs, or else their dogs will be beaten to death by the police and the owners will be charged a fine. Can you imagine being forced to kill your own dog to…

I am so happy to announce that our little bundle of joy has finally arrived "Gibbs," Our new French Bulldog puppy is here with us and adjusting to being loved and pampered quite well. He is also bonding with his perspective mate "Sugar." All of the other dogs seem to have adapted to the addition of yet another attention grabber with no apparent resentment. Our couch is now what we fondly refer to as "Pile"o" doggies." We allow our dogs on the furniture because they are our family and we don't li…
