We have had him about a week and a half so he is pretty settled in here. The only problem is that we plan to breed French Bulldogs and maybe Mini Dachshunds so we didn't really need another extra dog. My son has his Lab mix and we figured one extra dog was okay but now we have two that are not going to be paying for themselves and they are both huge. Though both are good watch dogs. Oh them silly chickens do seem appreciative they are letting me pet them now. before they would run and peck.

Hope you got your flood damage under control. We are still trying to get our problem stabilized so it won't happen again. We have some more trench to dig. So funny, we have so many projects planned for next spring. We are going to tear out walls and build a puppy nursery and a huge bathroom. Then build a deck to replace the one we have now because we will enclose it to make the bathroom and puppy room and also extend our bedroom.I don't think we will be slowing down anytime soon.

Hi, what a day. We were building nesting boxes for the chickens and everything that could go forward went backward. I hope these rotten chickens appreciate all the hard work we have put into their home.LOL, chickens are a thankless lot ya know. Other than bustin' butt to get winterized all is well. Hope all is good at your end.

Flurry, our Dumpling. He followed the kids home. we put the word out but he has not been claimed. Isn't he gorgeous. we think he is a Kuvaz.

Oh Wow! Luckily we were forewarned of our situation because we would be exactly in the same boat since that was where we planned to store all of our stuff too. It has almost exactly the same kinds of damage. so,e of the drywall is now wetwall and decomposed clean through. we have two other projects we are working on besides that we have to fix the chicken coop for winter. And build on to our deck to create a large room for our Kennel/home for a nursery for birthing and puppies that have not yet been house trained. I am so excited about this part.

Sounds just like us!!!! One project leads to at least three more and that is a good day! I wish you the best of luck on that one. We have an out building that has had a leakage problem for years that we just added gutters to but that is not good enough so now we have to dig a drainage ditch and add a french drain as well as gravel. We have to get all this completed by the onset of Winter. See ya here when we see ya.
