You need a sponsor to pay for the 501c3 fee. How big is your town? Do you work alone or have any help? On another note, with getting the kitties spayed and neutered, do you have a low cost clinic in your area? Google TNR - Trap Neuter Release and see what's available in your area. Here, so close to Chicaog, we have a lot of choices but for true ferals we pay $25-$26 that includes s/n, vaccinations, eartipping, microchip and at one place also covers Revolution.

I go through about 20# every other day with the street cats, unfortunately feed Meow Mix. The inside cats eat far better than I do. I feed Orijen - one of them has allergies to all grains so all 3 are on it - plus any kittens that happen to be here.... check http://catvando.blogspot.com We did start a nfp but thats a whole other aspect of busy - at least we get some donations tho. Working on more fundraisers and one in particular that I'll tell you about. oh yea, lots of time and $$$$$$$$$
