- Are you a breeder, looking for a pet or here to talk about animals?
- We're dog lovers in general(okay, we like BIG dogs!), but wolf lovers in particular. Get me talking about wolves, and I can't seem to shut up!
- If you are a breeder, what kind of animal do you breed? Are they registered or registerable?
- We're not professional breeders. We bred our lab/shepherd mix to our wolf, then had her spayed and him neutered. We aren't into breeding,breeding, breeding, just churning out puppies.
- Do you have pets?
- 1 wolf, two part-wolf, 3 mutts, 2 Shelties
- If you were an animal what would you be? Why?
- A wolf! I connect with their dignity, playfulness,quiet nature.

I am going to go all out and make it like a childs nursery only for puppies. special with a warming box and everything we will need. I will surely spend more time there than in the house. I am joining my mother in her breeding program so that she can mentor me and I can help her out too. We really got lucky since french bulldogs usually require artificial insemination and c-section births. It all went naturally. The little white guy took 6 hours to be born but that was not causing the mom any undue stress. We named him Danny Boy because he was the biggest just like my son Danny that took forever.

- I am over it , YOU keep harping on the issue, did not expect a comment back when I said it is time to stop beating a dead horse so to speak...One more time like I said, I feel what I feel and know what I know so that is that, I do not give a hoot what or what did not happened, how it got started, HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SHOT..PERIOD!!!!!, And I am going to defend and protect my breed till the day I die, when you own one then let me know until then if you have no knowledge about something do not try to tell me how it is, oh and by the way I found tons of stuff about ALL breeds that have attacked people and even mortally wounded them, pits included, but it happens with all breeds you should try to look it up sometimes, and I doubt that it is highly unlikely that wolves would never attack, ANY breed given the circumstance and happening could do it, do not single out your breed saying that they would never do it, you do not know that for a fact...I agree with Carolyn, I am not going to change my ways or thinking either or continue to HARP about this incident, I love my babies and there breed and that is that...I am an animal lover, period and that is what this site is all about, not to try to continously argue about a innocent dog getting shot...I am done commenting on this story and about the breed issue, once again when you become knowledgeable and own one then maybe you can see where I am coming from...And please do not send anymore negative comments about this story or your opinions, because it really does not matter because I know issues with this breed and it always has something to do with their BREED!!!! I AM DONE WITH THIS WHOLE THING PERIOD!!! You know I tried to get away from all the negative talking about this story by sending you that garfield comment but I guess talking about this story over and over is more important to you then friendship...I told you that was my opinion about the breed having something to do with it from past things that I have researched and known...NOONE IS RIGHT AND EVERYONE LOST IN THIS STORY PERIOD, so get on with life and let it go....

- I was talking about LARGE breed dogs, let me correct myself, but small can also be a biter...My sisters rat*terrier bit me in my face and almost cost my eye, my ages ago boyfriends SHELTIE bit him in the hand requiring stiches and in his case he went to pick dog up and hug him and in my case I was laying on couch beside him and moved and that was that, But anyway...I will have to get with my friend who had a list of mortally wounded people caused by dogs and alot of them were small and 1 pit bull out of all, and I am sure there are other stories and statistics out there I can get a hold of...I do not want to keep beating a dead horse so to speak...I feel what I feel and have my opinion, everyone does, but my mind will never be changed or swayed to believe just this breed of dog is bad or dangerous, no one really knows if he would have gone after him had he not run, running from any animal is NOT a good thing at all for any reason, I know certain situations require it but I just feel that this was not one and that is my opinion...My feelings will never change for these animals or any as that fact that have been shot, as I said LIFE OR DEATH situation and I do not believe it was that...I love my babies and if anyone EVER shot them I would be in prison becuase I would kill them in their tracks...But of course i know my dogs and they are trained and obedident, But I will get a hold of that list and send it to you, so what I am hearing is that you justify any dog getting shot that causes a situation???? I have to agree with other people a dog against 2 police officers that is not a fair match at all, defending or not...But to be honest, the story is what is what it is, true all or not, it happened and it is a terriable thing, But all the words in the world or what the media has to say is not going to change my belief that his breed had something to do with it...NOTHING!!! I do not want to keep battling back and forth with you, I thought you would understand where I was coming from, rasing and having them all my life...But I guess not

- Well your friends may raise pits but they sure do not know the ancestor history or they would know that LOCKJAW has been a name given to their breed, I do not want to get in to a big issue of who knows what, but the books and research and test that I have read about and that have been done have never proven that, but yes when they clamp down of course the have a grip but that is their bloodline of their breed back from the 1800's...But once again if your dog is trained and knows commands, one command he will stop what he/she is doing at the time and anyone certainly people who raise pits should make people aware that they do need some training because these dogs need disapline to a certain extent...My opinion will never change for this breed, people can talk to me till they are blue in the face but if you have never owned or had close contact with this breed you have no idea what they are like...Noone was there at that scene, news media, whatever, only the people, dog, owner and officers to a certain point know what REALLY happened, videos and TV can twist things around alot and show people what they want them to see and hear, seen it happen to many times, and I have raised Pit/Bully breeds all my life too but in doing that I also have learned their history and what they are and were in the past...I just did not get dogs and breed them to sell, which is another story all together, but you have touched on something so VERY close to my HEART and I could go on for years about it...But I know what I know and have learned what I have learned and continue to learn and love this breed..You or noone can steer me diffirent, my opinion and vaules of this breed will NEVER change no matter what happens, and it all depends on if it was a life or death matter and this most cetainly was not so I do not care who agrees with me or who does not, I just know what I feel in my heart and he did not deserved to get SHOT period...And ANY breed at any time can attack in situations it is not just Bully/pit breeds so no breeds are perfect by all means, once again...BLAME THE OWNER!!!!!
