- Bagel would most likely adjust to having her around faster than you think. The best thing to do is put them in your home but in different areas for a few days and then open the door and leave them to find each other DO NOT introduce them. Also when they find each other do not interfere Unless one is actually getting hurt. They will his and growl for awhile and then seeing you are not going to take either one away they will chill out.

- Call your local shelter and ask if they have a live trap. (it is not cruel and won't hurt them. Use gloves when you catch puddin' to get her out, have a towel handy and wrap her in it Pet her with gloves on at first until she is completely relaxed. Keep her inside the house until she is no longer skiddish, pick her up often (with a towel if necessary) and pet her until she relaxes. If she is skiddish she is most likely feral. After you get her tame take her to the vet and have her checked out, get her shots and have her spayed. As for the other ones (probably her litter mates) catch them in the live trap and take them to the animal shelter. Don't even bother taking them out of the trap. Many of the shelters are doing a catch neuter/spay and release program now where they return them to you after they have been fixed so that you can release them back where they were if you want to have them around and feed them. Hope this helps...

- Hi Barbie, It has been crazy here too, but in a fun way. we just got two new puppies, Mini Dachshund females. They are too cute for words. They love me to bits and won't leave me alone but I am loving it.
